Različiti genotipi ovog receptora utiču na sposobnost prepoznavanja ukusa 6-n-propiltiouracila (PROP)[1] i feniltiokarbamida (PTC).[2][3] Though it has often been proposed that varying taste receptor genotypes could influence tasting ability, TAS2R38 is one of the only taste receptors shown to have this function.[4]
Prenos signala
