Protein kodiran ovim genom pripada familiji G-protein spregnutih receptora, koji su preferentno aktivirani nukleotidima adenozina i uridina. Ove gen je umereno izražen u nediferenciranim HL60 ćelijama. On je lociran na hromozomima X i Y.^[2]
