Pentref a chymuned yn ne-ddwyrain Ynys Môn yw Llanddona ("Cymorth – Sain" ynganiad ). Saif rhyw dair milltir i’r gogledd o dref Biwmares ar ffordd fechan sy’n troi tua’r gogledd o’r B5109 rhwng Biwmares a Llansadwrn (cyfeiriad grid SH575796). Mae ar ochr ddwyreiniol Traeth Coch. Yn yr Oesoedd Canol roedd yn rhan o gwmwd Dindaethwy, cantref Menai.

Tafarn Owain Glyndŵr, Llanddona

Mae’r eglwys wedi ei chysegru i Sant Dona, mab Selyf ap Cynan o deulu brenhinol Teyrnas Powys. Dywedir fod yr eglwys wreiddiol yma yn dyddio o tua 610. Ail-adeiladwyd yr eglwys bresennol yn 1873. Yn yr eglwys mae cloch yn dyddio o 1647 a chwpan cymun arian yn dyddio o 1769, ond gyda chaead o 1574.

Nodwedd amlycaf yr ardal yw’r mast radio ar fryn uwchben y pentref, sydd i’w weld am filltiroedd. Ychydig i’r gogledd o’r pentref mae bryngaer o’r enw Bwrdd Arthur, neu "Din Sylwy". Mae maen hir cynhanesyddol i’r gorllewin o’r pentref.

Ceir stori adnabyddus am Wrachod Llanddona. Yn ôl y chwedl daeth cwch heb hwyl na rhwyfau i’r lan yn Nhraeth Coch yn llawn o ddynion a merched. Daethant yn enwog am eu gallu i reibio, yn enwedig gwraig o’r enw Bella Fawr.
