Το υδροφθορ(ο)ϋπεροξείδιο[3] (αγγλικά fluorohydroperoxide) είναι ανόργανη χημική ένωση, που περιέχει υδρογόνο, οξυγόνο και φθόριο, με μοριακό τύπο HFO2. Ανήκει στα ανόργανα «θυγατρικά» υπεροξείδια. Τυπικά προκύπτει από το «μητρικό» υπεροξείδιο του υδρογόνου (H2O2), αν αντικατασταθεί ένα άτομο υδρογόνου από ένα άτομο φθορίου.

Δομή

Το μόριο του υδροφθοροϋπεροξειδίου περιέχει συνολικά τέσσερα (4) άτομα από τρία (3) διαφορετικά χημικά στοιχεία. Συνγκεκριμένα αποτελείται από ένα (1) άτομο υδρογόνου, δύο (2) άτομα οξυγόνου και ένα (1) φθορίου. Ο μοριακός τύπος της ένωσης γράφεται FHO2, αν τα χημικά στοιχεία που την αποτελούν γραφούν κατ' αλφαβητική σειρά, HFO2, αν μπει πρώτα το υδρογόνο και τα υπόλοιπα μπουν κατ' αλφαβητική σειρά και HO2F, αν τα χημικά στοιχεία μπουν κατά σειρά αύξουσας ηλεκτραρνητικότητας. Ο τελευταίος τύπος συμπίπτει με τη γραμμική περιγραφή της μοριακής δομής, δηλαδή τα τέσσερα (4) άτομα της ένωσης συνδέονται κατά σειρά ως εξής: H-O-O-F, σε επίπεδη τεθλασμένη γωνιακή διάταξη. Μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ότι το μόριο της ένωσης αποτελείται από δύο (2) ομάδες: Ένα υδροξύλιο (OH) και ένα φθοροξύλιο (OF). Συνολικά περιέχει τρεις (3) ομοιπολικούς δεσμούς: H-O, O-O και O-F. Η ένωση μπορεί να σχηματίσει διαμοριακούς δεσμούς υδρογόνου, περιέχοντας μάλιστα ένα (1) δότη (H) και τρεις (3) δέκτες (O, O, F).
