가덕도신공항

가덕도신공항은 동남권 신공항 건설 문제의 논의에 따라 동남권 지역의 국제항공 수요를 충족시키기 위해 가덕도 남부에 지어지는 신공항이다. 가덕도신공항 건설을 위한 특별법이 2021년 통과되면서 예타면제가 되었다.

배경

김해국제공항의 포화와 위험성으로 인하여 동남권 신공항 건설 문제가 제기되었다. 박근혜 정부의 검증에서 김해공항 서편에 V자 활주로를 신설하여, 김해공항을 확장하기로 결정하였다.[1]

그러나 안전문제가 불거져, 더불어민주당이 집권한 뒤 2019년 국무총리실 산하로 김해신공항 검증위원회를 꾸렸다.[2][3]

2021년 가덕도신공항 건설을 위한 특별법이 통과되어 김해공항 확장 추진을 중단시키고 가덕도신공항의 예비타당성조사가 면제되었다.[4]

설계

가덕도 남단의 국수봉을 절취해 주로 가덕도 동쪽을 매립하되 매립지가 아닌 육상에 걸치는 동서방향 활주로를 짓는다.[5][6]

부지조성 공사는 현대건설의 단독 입찰로 4차례 입찰이 무산된 후 수의계약을 협의중이다.[7]

교통

  • 부산신항선을 활용해 공항철도를 건설할 것이다.부산신항 방면으로 부산신항선과 직결은 확정되었고,[8] 창원이나 진영, 밀양, 대구 방면이 아닌 부산시내 방면 삼각선 성격의 연결선은 추진중이다.[9] 부산신항 방면 본선인 가덕도신공항 접근철도는 2024년내 발주된다.[10]
  • 가덕도 신공항까지 국도 제11호선이 지정되었다.[11]
  • 중앙고속도로지선과 연계되는 부산신항-김해 고속도로는 2019년 예타면제가 되었고, 남해고속도로제3지선과 연계하는 김해-밀양 고속도로도 추진된다.[12]
  • 다대포-가덕도신공항을 잇는 부산 제2해안순환도로가 추진된다.[13]
