  • Flypostavisen Nytt fra Norge var en ukeavis beregnet på nordmenn i utlandet som som ble grunnlagt i 1954 etter et stortingsvedtak. Den ble utgitt av en stiftelse der Utenriksdepartementet og en rekke organisasjoner sto bak.
  • The Village Voice, noen ganger forkortet til The Voice, er en amerikansk gratisavis grunnlagt i 1955 av Dan Wolf, Ed Fancher og Norman Mailer.[2][3]
