Il Sunday News è stato un giornale scandalistico neozelandese pubblicato ogni fine settimana ad Auckland.[1]
Storia
Oltre a un approccio alle notizie che lo stesso giornale definiva “incisivo”, il giornale offriva anche una copertura dedicata allo sport del fine settimana, all’intrattenimento, ai pettegolezzi sulle celebrità, alla moda e alla programmazione televisiva.
Il Sunday News fu lanciato per la prima volta nel 1961. Era di proprietà della società di media Stuff Ltd, precedentemente filiale neozelandese della compagnia di media australiana Fairfax Media.[2]
Il 30 giugno Stuff ha annunciato che il Sunday News avrebbe cessato le pubblicazioni entro il 28 luglio 2024.[2]
