川合町（かわいちょう）は、愛知県瀬戸市祖母懐連区の町名。丁番を持たない単独町名である。

地理

瀬戸市の中央部に位置する^[8]。西を宝ケ丘町・萩殿町・春雨町、北を一里塚町・中山町・東町、東を太子町・南を塩草町・若宮町と隣接している^[8]。

歴史

町名の由来

かつてこの地には、一里塚川など三本の小川が合流するところから川合町と名付けられたとされる^[11]。

沿革

1942年（昭和17年）1月9日 - 瀬戸市大字瀬戸字一里塚の一部により、同市川合町として成立^[2]。
