Mazmur 76

Mazmur 76 (Penomoran Septuaginta: Mazmur 75) adalah sebuah mazmur dalam bagian ke-3 Kitab Mazmur di Alkitab Ibrani dan Perjanjian Lama dalam Alkitab Kristen. Digubah oleh Asaf.[1][2]

Ayat 11

Sesungguhnya panas hati manusia akan menjadi syukur bagi-Mu, dan sisa panas hati itu akan Kauperikatpinggangkan.[3]

Murka Allah yang diungkapkan dalam bentuk hukuman terhadap para penindas umat-Nya menjadi syukur bagi-Nya dari orang-orang yang dibebaskan. Murka orang fasik bisa memberikan peluang kepada Allah untuk menyelamatkan umat-Nya dan melakukan hal-hal besar bagi mereka; mis. murka Firaun terhadap Israel menjadi kesempatan bagi Allah untuk menunjukkan kuasa-Nya yang ajaib dalam membebaskan umat-Nya dari Mesir (pasal Keluaran 5:1-12:51).[4]

Penomoran ayat

Dalam Alkitab Indonesia, mazmur ini terdiri dari 13 ayat, di mana ayat 1 adalah pengantar "Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dengan permainan kecapi. Mazmur Asaf. Nyanyian." (versi Terjemahan Baru dari Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia ). Dalam Alkitab Inggris, kalimat pengantar ini tidak diberi nomor ayat, sehingga seluruhnya hanya ada 12 ayat, di mana ayat 1 bahasa Inggris sama dengan ayat 2 bahasa Indonesia dan seterusnya.
