Mazmur 106 (disingkat Maz 106 atau Mz 106; penomoran Septuaginta: Mazmur 105) adalah mazmur ke-17 dan terakhir dalam bagian ke-4 Kitab Mazmur di Alkitab Ibrani dan Perjanjian Lama dalam Alkitab Kristen. Tidak ditulis nama pengarang mazmur ini.[1][2]

Teks

Naskah Mazmur 106:1-8 di dalam St. Albans Psalter. Kata pertama Mazmur ini dalam Alkitab Vulgata adalah "Confitemini."

Tradisi Yahudi

  • Dibacakan pada hari kedua perayaan Paskah Yahudi di sejumlah tradisi.[3]
  • Ayat 2 dipakai sebagai ayat terakhir dari Anim Zemirot.[4] Kadang dibaca setelah Mazmur 126 sebelum Birkat Hamazon.[5]
  • Ayat 45 dipakai dalam doa berulang Mussaf Amidah pada perayaan Rosh Hashanah.[6]
  • Ayat 47 dipakai sebagai ayat ke-3 dari bacaan Tachanun panjang pada hari-hari Senin dan Kamis[7] dan bagian dari Baruch Hashem L'Olam dalam ibadah petang Maariv.[8]
