Izear Luster "Ike" Turner Jr. (5 Kasım 1931 - 12 Aralık 2007), Amerikalı reggae - rock müzisyeni şarkıcısı ve söz yazarı.

Sanatçı 5 Kasım 1931'de Clarksdale, Mississippi'de doğdu. 1950 yılında Amerikayı tek başına gezdi. Otostoplarının birinde tesadüfen o zamanlar kamyon şoförü olan Elvis Presley ile tanıştı.[1] İkisi de yıllar sonra bir organizasyonda karşılaşınca bu anıyı hatırladı. Louis Jordan'ın yönlendirmesiyle müziğe başladı. 1951'de müzisyen Sam Phillips'in stüdyosunda kaydedilip Chess Plakçılık'tan çıkan ritm-reggae tarzındaki Rocket 88 albümüyle tüm müzik çevrelerinde tanınıp zirve yaptı. Bu ün ile beraber; Little Richard, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Muddy Waters ve Johnny Otis gibi isimlerle beraber çalıştı. Sonny Boy Williamson II'na son stüdyo çalışmasında yardımda bulundu.

1960'lı yıllarda Duke Ellington sayesinde Tina Turner'la tanıştı. Ve bu raddeden sonra Ike'nin hayatında bambaşka bir serüven başladı. Tina'yla "The Ike and Tina Turner Revue" rock ve soul'u birleştirdiler. İkili oluşturup dünya çapında turneler düzenlediler. Albümleri o yıllarda ABD'de yarım milyon sattı. Rolling Stone dergisine göre tüm zamanların en büyük 20 ikilisinde 2. sırada yer buldular. B.B. King bu albümlerin bazılarında kendilerine eşlik etti. Ike, Tina ile 16 yıl evli kaldı. Evlilikleri şiddetli geçimsizlik nedeniyle sona erdi. Bu süreçte uyuşturucuya başladı. Aile içi darp,uyuşturucu vb. suçlardan 18 ay hüküm hapis yattı. Bu beraberlik bittikten sonra müzikten kopup inzivaya çekildi.

Ike 2001 yılında yazdığı "Adımı Geri Alıyorum" adlı otobiyografik kitabında Tina'ya şiddet uyguladığını reddetti. Ike kitapta "Eminim, Tina'ya tokat attım, onu iteklediğim de oldu düşünmeden, ama onu asla dövmedim" diye yazdı.[2] Son yıllarında kendisine bipolar bozukluk ve alzheimer hastalığı başlangıcı teşhisleri konuldu. 12 Aralık 2007'de ilaç-uyuşturucu zehirlenmesi nedeniyle 76 yaşında San Diego'da ölmüştür.
