Regulator G-proteinske signalizacije 7 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran RGS7genom.[1][2]
RGS7 se nalazi u povišenoj koncentraciji u mozgu, gde deluje kao universalni inhibitor Gi/o-spregnutih GPCR. RGS7 je aktivirajući protein GTPaze (GAP). On ubrzava GTP hidrolizu na G proteinima, čime određuje njihovu brzu inaktivaciju. Isto tako deluje kao intraćeliski antagonist GPCR signalizacije.[3]
