Sherman-brødrene var de to amerikanske brødrene Robert Bernard Sherman (1925–2012)[a] og Richard Morton Sherman (1928–2024),[b] som var komponistene og tekstforfatterne som stod bak filmmusikken til en rekke av filmene til Walt Disney Productions.[3]

De ble kjent da de på 1950-, 1960- og 1970-tallet arbeidet for Walt Disney, og skrev sanger til over 30 Disney-filmer.

I 2009 hadde en dokumentarfilm om Sherman-brødrene premiere. Filmen har tittelen The Boys – the Sherman Brothers’ story.[4]

Priser og hedersbevisninger

Sherman-brødrene mottok to Oscar-statuetter for musikken til filmen Mary Poppins, og var nominert til syv andre Oscar-priser i løpet av sin karriere.[trenger referanse]

I 1976 fikk de en stjerne på Hollywood Walk of Fame i Hollywood.[1][5]
