דיוויזיית הפאנצר ה-23 (בגרמנית: 23. Panzer-Division) הייתה דיוויזיית שריון של הוורמאכט שלחמה במלחמת העולם השנייה.

היסטוריה

הדיוויזיה הוקמה בצרפת ב-21 בספטמבר 1941 על בסיס בריגדת הפאנצר ה-101, וכמפקדה הראשון מונה הנס פון בוינבורג-לנגספלד. היא נכללה במסגרת הארמייה הראשונה שהייתה חלק מקבוצת ארמיות D, והוצבה ככוח כיבוש בצרפת. במרץ 1942 הועברה לחזית המזרחית, והייתה חלק מהארמייה השישית של קבוצת ארמיות דרום. היא הוצבה ליד קרקוב. בהמשך אותה שנה פורקה קבוצת ארמיות דרום, ודיוויזיית הפאנצר ה-23 הועברה אל קורפוס הפאנצר ה-57, שהיה חלק מארמיית הפאנצר הראשונה שהייתה חלק מקבוצת ארמיות A. בעקבות כיתור הארמייה השישית בקרב סטלינגרד, הועבר הקורפוס כולו תחת פיקוד ארמיית הפאנצר הרביעית שהייתה חלק מקבוצת ארמיות דון. למרות שמצבה היה גרוע מאוד, היא יועדה להיות חוד החנית של מבצע סערת חורף יחד עם דיוויזיית הפאנצר השישית. המבצע נחל בתחילה הצלחות, אולם בהמשך נהדפה המתקפה הגרמנית. לאחר מכן הועברה הדיוויזיה תחת פלגת הארמייה הולידט, שבאפריל 1943 הפכה להיות הארמייה השישית החדשה. בין 1944-1945 השתתפה הדיוויזיה בקרבות הנסיגה באוקראינה, ולאחר מכן בקרבות בהונגריה ובכלל זה במבצע קונרד. היא נכנעה לכוחות הצבא האדום עם סיום המלחמה.
