Gastón Revol (Cordoba hiria, Argentina, 1986ko azaroaren 26a), atzelari edo uztartze-erdilari gisa jokatzen duen 7ko errugbi jokalari argentinarra da. 7ko errugby selekzioko partaide da. Gaur egun, Argentinako Cordoba Errugbi Federazioko La Tablada Klubeko jokalaria da[1]. 2020ko Tokioko Olinpiar Jokoetan brontzezko domina irabaziko zuen 7ko errugbi taldeko partaide izan zen.

Kirol ibilbidea

Revolek 2009an debutatu zuen 7ko errugbi selekzioan Londresko Zazpikoan, Portugalen aurka[2]. Zazpiko taldearekin, 300 partida baino gehiago jokatu ditu, eta horrek egungo hamaikako eskarmentu handienetako bat izatea dakarkio[3][4]. 2016an, taldeko kapitain izan zen 2016ko Rio de Janeiroko Olinpiar Jokoetan, non seigarren sailkatu baitzen[5]. Revolek, 2013an Moskun eta 2018an San Frantziskon, 7ko errugbiko bi Mundu-Kopa jokatu zituen. 2018koan, taldeko kapitaina ere izan zen, eta bosgarren postuan amaitu zuen txapelketa[6].

Urrezko domina lortu zuen 2019ko Panamerikar Jokoetan[7], eta zilarrezkoa, 2015eko Panamerikar Jokoetan.

Olinpiar Jokoak

2016ko Rio de Janeiroko Olinpiar Jokoetan diploma olinpikoa eskuratu zuen. Uztailaren 28an Britainia Handiari 17-12 irabazi ostean, brontzezko domina irabazi zuen 2020ko Tokioko Olinpiar Jokoetan[8], Fijiko taldearen (urrezkoa) eta Zeelanda Berrikoaren (zilarrezkoa) atzetik sailkatuz. Hauek osatuko dute Argentinako taldea: Santiago Álvarez, Lautaro Bazán, Lucio Cinti, Felipe del Mestre, Rodrigo Etchart Luciano González Rizzoni, Rodrigo Isgró, Santiago Mare, Ignacio Mendy, Marcos Moneta, Matías Osadczuk, Gastón Revol eta Germán Schulz-ek[9][10].
