Kimika organikoan azolek bost kabe-begiz osatutako konposatu heterozikliko nitrogenatuen klase bat osatzen dute. Ezinbestean eraztunaren egituran gutxienez nitrogeno-atomo bat dago. Nitrogenoaz eta karbonoaz aparte oxigenoa edo sufrea egon daitezke. Azolak konposatu aromatikoak dira[1].
