Triazola konposatu organiko heteroziklikoa da, C2H3N3 formula duena. Bi isomero eta bina tautomero ditu. Solido marroixka da. Uretan eta alkoholetan disolbagarria da[1][2].
Triazol ordezkatuak edo egituran triazol taldea duten konposatuak herbizida eta fungizida gisa baliatzen dira adibidez, 3-Amino-1,2,4-triazola. 1,2,3-triazola bioisostero gisa baliatzen da medikuntzan eta hainbat sendagairen egituraren parte da, esaterako tazobaktama[3]. Kimika bioortogonalean ere baliatzen dira[4].
Isomeria
Gorago esan bezala triazolak bi isomero eta bina tautomero ditu. 1,2,3-triazolean hiru nitrogeno-atomoak bata bestearen ondoan daude. 1,2,4-triazolean karbono-atomo batek separatzen du nitrogeno-atomoetako bat. Tautomeroen arteko diferentzia da nitrogeno-atomok duen hidrogeno-atomoa lotuta[5].
