Ausonia (küçük gezegen tanımı: 63 Ausonia), asteroit kuşağının iç bölgesinden, yaklaşık 100 kilometre (60 mil) çapında, taşlı bir Vestian asteroididir. Ausonia, Vesta ailesinin bir üyesidir. Fiziksel özellikler

Tholen sınıflandırmasında, Ausonia taşlı bir S-tipi asteroitken, SMASS sınıflandırmasında, S-tipinden nadir görülen A-tipi asteroide geçiş yapan bir S-alt tipidir. Vücudun taşlı yapısı 2017 yılında yapılan polarimetrik gözlemlerle de doğrulanmıştır. Işık eğrisine dayanarak, küçük bir ay önerildi, ancak asla onaylanmadı.[29]

Ausonia, Hubble FGS kullanan bir çalışmadaydı.
