ISBN (İngilizce: International Standard Book Number[1]), 1972 yılında Uluslararası Standartlar Organizasyonu (ISO) tarafından hazırlanan kitap numaralama sistemidir.[2] Kitap numaralarını standardize etmek, materyalin kimliğini tanımlamak amacıyla oluşturulmuştur.[2] 1970 yılından önce basılan kitaplarda bu bilgi bulunmaz.
