Ortalama devinim

Yörünge mekaniğinde, Ortalama devinim (n ile temsil edilir), bir cismin bir yörüngeyi tamamlaması için gereken açısal hızdır; gerçek cismin değişken hızı, eliptik yörüngesi ile aynı zamanda tamamlanan dairesel yörüngede sabit hız varsayılır.^[1] Kavram, büyük, büyük bir birincil cisim etrafında dönen küçük bir cisim veya ortak bir kütle merkezi etrafında dönen nispeten aynı büyüklükteki iki cisim için eşit derecede iyidir. Nominal olarak bir ortalama ve pratikte iki cisim hareketi durumunda teorik olarak öyle olsa da, ortalama hareket tipik olarak gerçek cisimlerin yörüngeleri için zaman içindeki bir ortalama değildir ve bu sadece iki cisim varsayımına yaklaşır. Gövdenin sürekli değişen, tedirgin yörüngesinin mevcut yerçekimi ve geometrik koşullarından hesaplanan yukarıdaki koşulları karşılayan daha çok anlık değerdir.

Ortalama hareket, örneğin bir dizi yörünge ögelerinden, cismin yörüngesindeki konumunun ilk hesaplamasını yaparken gerçek yörünge hızının bir tahmini olarak kullanılır. Bu ortalama konum, gerçek konumu üretmek için Kepler denklemiyle rafine edilir.

Yörünge periyodunu (vücudun bir yörüngeyi tamamlama süresi) zaman boyutuyla P olarak tanımlayın. Ortalama hareket, bu zamana bölünen bir devrimdir veya,

Ortalama hareketin değeri, belirli yerçekimi sisteminin koşullarına bağlıdır. Daha fazla kütleye sahip sistemlerde cisimler, Newton'un evrensel kütleçekim yasasına göre daha hızlı yörüngede dönerler. Aynı şekilde, birbirine daha yakın olan cisimler de daha hızlı yörüngede dönecektir.
