Tyler Onyedim (Houston, 14 maggio 2003) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di defensive tackle per i Denver Broncos della National Football League (NFL).
Carriera universitaria
Iowa State
Onyedim iniziò a giocare a football nella NCAA ad Iowa State. Nella sua prima stagione con i Cyclones giocò in 12 partite registrando 11 tackle, un sack e un intercetto. Nel 2023 ricevette una menzione onorevole dalla Big 12 Conference dopo aver terminato la stagione con 42 tackle e 2 sack.[1] Nel 2024 Onyedim e i Cyclones raggiunsero la finale della Big 12 Conference dove vennero sconfitti da Arizona State.[2] Durante quella stagione scese in campo da titolare in otto partite registrando 33 tackle ed un fumble recuperato, contribuendo a fare terminare la squadra con 11 vittorie, il miglior risultato di sempre per l'istituto. Nei quattro anni ad Iowa State, Onyedim prese parte a 40 incontri, siglando 90 tackle e 3 sack.[3] Dopo l'esperienza ad Iowa State si trasferì alla Texas A&M University per la sua ultima stagione al college.[4]
Texas A&M
Nell'unica annata con gli Aggies fece registrare 48 tackle e 2,5 sack.[5]
Carriera professionistica
Denver Broncos
Onyedim venne selezionato nel corso del terzo giro (66º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2026 dai Denver Broncos.[6] Il 22 giugno firmò il suo contratto quadriennale da rookie.[7]
Vita privata
La famiglia di Onyedim si trasferì negli Stati Uniti dalla Nigeria negli anni novanta.[8]
