Alexander Styles, detto Sonny (Columbus, 24 novembre 2004), è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di linebacker per i Washington Commanders della National Football League (NFL).

Carriera universitaria

Nella sua prima stagione a Ohio State nel 2022, Stylers mise a segno 9 tackle giocando come safety.[1] Prima della stagione 2023 fu nominato titolare.[2] Nel primo turno fu nominato miglior giocatore dell'incontro per la sua prestazione contro gli Indiana Hoosiers.[3] Nel 2024 passò al ruolo di linebacker e a fine stagione vinse il titolo nazionale. Nel 2025 fu nominato uno dei capitani della squadra, venendo premiato come All-American da The Sporting News dopo avere fatto registrare 80 tackle, un intercetto, 3 passaggi deviati e un fumble forzato.[4][5]

Carriera professionistica

Washington Commanders

Styles fu scelto dai Washington Commanders come settimo assoluto nel Draft NFL 2026.[6] Firmò il suo contratto da rookie l'otto maggio 2026, un accordo quadriennale del valore di 37,2 milioni di dollari.[7][8][9]
