Arvell Reese (Cleveland, 30 agosto 2005) è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di linebacker per i New York Giants della National Football League (NFL).

Carriera universitaria

Nella sua prima stagione a Ohio State nel 2023, Reese disputò solo sei partite a causa di una commozione cerebrale subita, senza fare registrare alcuna statistica.[1][2] Nel primo turno della stagione 2024 mise a segno 4 tackle, di cui uno con perdita di yard, nella vittoria su Akron.[3] Nel nono turno mise a referto due tackle prima di essere espulso contro Nebraska.[4][5] Inizialmente fu sospeso ma la sanzione fu revocata in appello, permettendogli di essere in campo contro Penn State.[6] A fine anno vinse il campionato nazionale contro Notre Dame. Nel 2025 fu premiato come All-American e come linebacker dell’anno della Big Ten Conference.

Carriera professionistica

New York Giants

Reese era considerato uno dei migliori selezionabili nel Draft NFL 2026.[7] Venne scelto come quinto assoluto dai New York Giants.[8] Il 29 maggio 2026 firmò il suo contratto da rookie, un quadriennale del valore di 47,8 milioni di dollari di cui 31,2 come bonus alla firma.[9]
