Il campionato di Serie B d'Eccellenza maschile di pallacanestro maschile 2007-2008 è stato organizzato in Italia e rappresenta il terzo campionato italiano.

Le ventotto squadre sono state suddivise in due gironi all'italiana su base geografica, con partite di andata e ritorno. La vittoria vale 2 punti, la sconfitta 0. Al termine della stagione regolare, le prime otto squadre di ogni girone parteciperanno ai play-off per la promozione in LegaDue, le squadre classificatesi tra il 9º e il 14º posto ai play-out per la retrocessione in Serie B Dilettanti.

Fase finale

  • Le due squadre qualificate col miglior piazzamento nei gironi A e B giocano una prima finale: chi vince sale in Legadue ed è Campione d'Italia Dilettanti.
  • La finalista che esce sconfitta ha comunque una seconda possibilità di promozione, disputando una nuova serie contro la vincitrice della semifinale giocata tra le due peggio classificate.
  • La gara di andata viene giocata in casa della squadra con peggiore classifica nella stagione regolare (o minore numero di vittorie nella stagione regolare in caso di pari classifica). Sono previsti tempi supplementari nella sola gara di ritorno e solo in caso di parità di quoziente canestri (totale punti segnati diviso totale punti subiti nei due incontri).
