Iso-Syöte on Suomen eteläisin tunturi.

Iso-Syöte sijaitsee Pudasjärven kaupungissa Pohjois-Pohjanmaalla, lähellä Lapin maakunnan rajaa. Kaupungin keskustaajamasta Kurenalta on matkaa noin 55 kilometriä ja Oulusta noin 140 kilometriä. Ison-Syötteen huippu kohoaa puurajan yläpuolelle, 432 metrin korkeuteen merenpinnasta.[1]

Sana syöte on saamea ja tarkoittaa pyhää paikkaa.[2] Saamelaisten asuttaessa seutua he pitivät Isoa-Syötettä seitapaikkana eli uhri- ja palvontapaikkana.

Parhaiten Iso-Syöte tunnetaan laskettelurinteistään ja Syötteen kansallispuistosta.[2]

Ison-Syötteen alueella on noin 120 kilometriä hiihtolatuja.[3] Suomen Hiihtokeskusyhdistys valitsi Ison-Syötteen vuoden 2012 parhaaksi hiihtokeskukseksi.[4] Isolle-Syötteelle rakennettiin keinotekoinen järvi, jonka uskottiin lisäävän alueen vetovoimaisuutta ympärivuotisena matkailukohteena.[5] Syötteen retkeilyalueen käyntimäärä on kasvanut reilusti viime vuosien aikana. Vuonna 2021 käyntimäärä oli 117 800, kun vuonna 2019 se oli 43 000.[6]

Ison-Syötteen laskettelurinteiden ja latujen lumetuksessa käytetään läheisestä Pärjänjoesta pumpattua vettä.[7]
