Ruo'ao (Hanzi: 若敖, †764 SM) merupakan penguasa negara Chu dari tahun 790 hingga 764 SM pada masa Dinasti Zhou Barat di Tiongkok kuno. Lahir Xiong Yi (Hanzi: 熊儀), ia adalah penguasa Chu pertama yang diberikan nama anumerta.[1]

Seperti penguasa Chu awal lainnya, Ruo'ao memegang gelar bangsawan vicomte yang pertama kali diberikan kepada leluhurnya, juga bernama Xiong Yi (熊繹, berbeda dalam karakter Tionghoa), oleh Raja Cheng dari Zhou.[1]

Ruo'ao menggantikan ayahandanya, Xiong E, yang meninggal pada tahun 791 SM. Ia memerintah selama 27 tahun dan digantikan oleh putranya Xiao'ao.[1]
