杰马·弗里西斯环形山(Gemma Frisius)是月球正面南部高地上一座古老、深邃的大撞击坑，约形成于前酒海纪^[1]，其名称取自荷兰数学家暨医生、制图师、哲学家、版画家、天文仪器技师赫马·弗里修斯(1508年-1555年)，1935年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

描述

该陨坑西侧毗邻努内斯环形山、西北靠近泊松陨石坑、古达克陨石坑附靠在它的东北侧、东北偏北坐落着萨库托环形山、杰马·弗里西斯环形山的东侧是拉比列维环形山、南面横亘着马若利科环形山、往东南矗立着布赫环形山和比兴环形山、而西南则分布弗尼利厄斯环形山和施特夫勒环形山，云海坐落在杰马·弗里西斯环形山的西北方^[2]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为34°20′S 13°22′E / 34.33°S 13.37°E / -34.33; 13.37，直径88.5公里^[3]，深度约5.16公里^[4]。

杰马·弗里西斯环形山的外侧壁已严重撞击损毁，沿边缘布满了众多的大小撞击坑，尤其是它的北侧和西侧坑壁，在这一侧沿途坐落了小卫星坑"杰马·弗里西斯 D"、"杰马·弗里西斯 G"和"杰马·弗里西斯 H"。环形山坑壁平均高出周边地形1400米^[1]，内部容积约7200公里³^[1]。正如一些观察者所指出的，该环形山的外观结构类似一只熊爪印，三座卫星坑加上古达克陨石坑构成了它的四只脚趾。

该环形山的东南坑壁也已磨损，内侧壁坍塌的岩石跌落到坑底将近三分之一距离处，坑底其余部分地表相对平坦且较深邃，中心点偏西北处矗立着一座高约600米中央峰。
