Harun Mertoğlu (d. 1971; Ardeşen, Rize), Türk siyasetçi ve avukat.

Eğitimi

İlk ve orta öğrenimini Rize'de tamamladı. Lisans eğitimini aldığı İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi'nden 1992'de mezun oldu. Yüksek lisans eğitimini de 2013'te Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü İşletme bölümünden mezun olarak tamamladı.

Mesleki kariyeri

Mezun olduktan sonra serbest avukat olarak çalıştı. 2000-2004 arası Rize Barosu Başkan yardımcılığı, 2004-2008 yılları arasında da Rize Barosu Başkanlığı görevini yürüttü. 2004-2016 yıllarında Türkiye Barolar Birliği Delegeliği yaptı. 2001-2015 yılları arasında aktif olarak siyasetle uğraştı. Rize İl İnsan Hakları Kurulu Üyeliği yaptı. Çok sayıda sivil toplum kuruluşunda Başkan veya üye olarak çalışmalarda bulundu.

2017-2023 yıllarında Türkiye İnsan Hakları ve Eşitlik Kurulu üyeliği yaptı.[1]

Siyasi kariyeri

2023 Türkiye genel seçimlerinde Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi'nden Rize milletvekili seçildi.

Kişisel hayatı

Orta seviyede Fransızca ve Arapça bilen Mertoğlu, evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır.
