Galloanserae – nadrząd ptaków neognatycznych skupiający dwa rzędy: blaszkodziobe (Anseriformes) i grzebiące (Galliformes), w języku angielskim określane zbiorczo nazwą fowl[1].

Bliskie pokrewieństwo blaszkodziobych z grzebiącymi zasugerował już Thomas Huxley w 1867[2][3]. Istnienie monofiletycznego kladu Galloanseres po raz pierwszy stwierdzono na podstawie analizy cech morfologicznych ich przedstawicieli. Pogląd ten wsparły niemal wszystkie badania oparte na hybrydyzacji DNA-DNA oraz badania genów mitochondrialnych i jądrowych. Apomorfie w obrębie tej grupy skoncentrowane są w obszarze czaszki. Budowa szkieletu przedstawicieli grzebiących (Galliformes) i blaszkodziobych (Anseriformes) wykazuje dość znaczące różnice. Cechy pośrednie znaleźć można u pochodzących z paleogenu przedstawicieli grupy trzonowej Galliformes, szczególnie wśród członków Gallinuloididae, najstarszej znanej rodziny grzebiących. Przykładowo, wykazują one charakterystyczną dla współczesnych blaszkodziobych budowę kości kruczej. Także i stosunkowo długa łopatka oraz długi i smukły carpometacarpus są cechą charakterystyczną dla współczesnych blaszkodziobych, nie zaś przedstawicieli grupy koronnej grzebiących[4].
