Tsjekkere på Commons

Tsjekkere (tsjekkisk: Češi, foreldet: Čechové, entall hankjønn: Čech, entall hunkjønn: Češka) er et vestslavisk folk som hovedsakelig bor i Tsjekkia, der de utgjør 95 % av befolkningen.[4] Tsjekkerne er etterkommere av slaviske stammer som trengte inn i Sentral-Europa på 600-tallet, og som der blandet seg med den daværende, overveiende keltisk-germanske befolkningen. Språket er tsjekkisk, som er nært beslektet med slovakisk og sorbisk.
