Perdana Menteri India

Perdana Menteri India adalah pemimpin eksekutif Pemerintah India. Perdana menteri adalah ketua penasihat kepada presiden India dan ketua Majlis Menteri-menteri Kesatuan. Mereka boleh menjadi anggota salah satu daripada dua rumah Parlimen India - Lok Sabha (Rumah Rakyat) dan Rajya Sabha (Majlis Negara-negara); tetapi harus menjadi anggota parti politik atau gabungan, yang mempunyai majoriti di Lok Sabha.
