뻐드렁니쥐류는 호저아목의 뻐드렁니쥐과(Bathyergidae)에 속하는 굴을 파는 설치류의 총칭이다. 두더지쥐과로도 불린다. 땅 밑 생활을 하는 설치류의 독특한 진화를 대표하며, 북아메리카의 흙파는쥐류, 남아메리카의 투코투코류, 또는 소경쥐과를 많이 닮았다.
