「君が、嘘を、ついた」（きみが、うそを、ついた）は、1984年4月21日に発売されたオフコース通算25枚目のシングル。

解説

「君が、嘘を、ついた」、「愛よりも」両曲ともアルバム『The Best Year of My Life』[2]の先行シングル曲。2年の活動停止期間が開け、このシングルから、オフコースのメンバーは小田和正、清水仁、大間ジロー、松尾一彦の4人となる。両曲とも木村史郎がミックス・ダウンを手がけたがアルバム収録に際しビル・シュネーが再度ミックスしたため、「君が、嘘を、ついた」はイントロでのドラムのフィルが異なり、イントロでのメロディーがキーボードのみ。全体的にエコーが少なくフェードアウトも約20秒程早い。「愛よりも」もミックスに大きな違いはないが、フェードアウトが15秒ほど早い。アルバム『Back Streets of Tokyo』[3]収録の「EYES IN THE BACK OF MY HEART」は「君が、嘘を、ついた」の英語詞による改作、フジテレビ系ドラマ『木曜ドラマストリート』オープニングテーマ採用に際しシングルカットされた[4]。

このシングルは東芝EMI（現：ユニバーサル ミュージック ジャパン）「第二制作部」が分離独立して設立された新会社ファンハウス（現：ソニー・ミュージックレーベルズ）の第一回リリース作品だったが、レコード販売委託がまだ東芝EMIだったためジャケットにはEXPRESSレーベルのロゴマークが付けられ、EPレコードのレーベルは同レーベルのデザインがそのまま使われた。

フジテレビ系『オレたちひょうきん族』「ひょうきんベストテン」に第1位でメンバー全員が出演[5]、レギュラー出演者も参加して「君が、嘘を、ついた」のプロモーションビデオ・プレミアム鑑賞会が行われた。

オリコン調べの売上枚数は31.6万枚[1]。
