L'Atlantic III è un catamarano appartenente alla compagnia di navigazione uruguaiana Buquebus.
Servizio
Il catamarano, sesto di una serie di nove unità gemelle costruite dal cantiere navale specializzato InCat di Hobart, venne varato il 27 giugno 1993 con il nome di Juan L e consegnato il 13 ottobre seguente all'uruguaiana Buquebus, dalla quale venne trasferito il 1º novembre a Buenos Aires, che dieci giorni dopo iniziò a collegare a Punta del Este e Montevideo.[1] Nel dicembre del 1998, dopo circa anni di servizio nel Río de la Plata, il catamarano venne ribattezzato Atlantic III e trasferito nei collegamenti tra la capitale argentina e Colonia del Sacramento.[1]
