אלן לי לוסון (באנגלית: Allan Leigh Lawson; נולד ב-21 ביולי 1945) הוא שחקן תיאטרון וקולנוע, במאי וסופר יהודי-בריטי.

קורות חיים

לוסון נולד בסאתרסטון שבווריקשייר לאם יהודייה.[1] הוא למד באקדמיה המלכותית לאמנות הדרמה, ושיחק בקולנוע ובטלוויזיה מתחילת שנות השבעים של המאה העשרים. בנוסף ביים מחזות בווסט אנד ובברודוויי. לוסון עבד עם התיאטרון המלכותי הלאומי ורויאל שייקספיר קומפני כמו גם עם הבמאים רומן פולנסקי ופרנקו זפירלי. בקולנוע גילם את ברנרדו ב"אח שמש, אחות ירח" (1972) ואת אלק דרברוויל בסרטו של פולנסקי "טס" (1979). הוא שיחק בתפקיד הראשי בסדרת הטלוויזיה "Travelling Man" ‏(1984–1985), ובתפקיד אורח בסדרות "הדוכסית מרחוב דיוק" (1976), "ד'יזראלי" (1978) וב-"Feuer und Schwert - Die Legende von Tristan und Isolde" מ-1982. ב-1988 שיחק באנתולוגיה "תיאטרון ריי ברדבורי" של HBO, וב"עדות אילמת" גילם את אביה של ניקי אלכסנדר (2005–2007). עם אשתו טוויגי שיחק בתפקיד עצמו בפרק בסדרה "פשוט נהדרת" (2001).

בנוסף למשחק עסק לוסון גם בכתיבה ובבימוי. ב-1999 היה שותף לכתיבה וביים את המחזמר "If Love Were All" על אודות הידידות בין גרטרוד לורנס ונואל קאוורד. בספטמבר 2009 פורסם ספרו "The Dream: An Actor's Story", ספר זכרונות מהתיאטרון על חיי היום יום של שחקן. (ISBN 978-1-84002-867-6)

חיים אישיים

ב-1976 התגרש לוסון מאשתו הראשונה מונדי. ב-1975 הכיר את השחקנית היילי מילס כשהופיעו יחד במחזה "A Touch of Spring" שהועלה בווסט אנד בלונדון. שנה אחר כך היא ילדה את בנו, ג'ייסון.[2] לוסון אימץ את כריספיאן, בנה של היילי מילס מבעלה הבמאי רוי בולטינג. באותה תקופה שיחק לוסון בסרט "The Devil's Advocate" לצידו של ג'ון מילס, אביה של היילי. הקשר בין השניים הסתיים בתחילת שנות השמונים של המאה העשרים.

לוסון פגש את הדוגמנית טוויגי ב-1984. שניהם השתתפו בסרט "מאדאם סוזצקה" ב-1988, והתחתנו ב-23 בדצמבר אותה שנה. הזוג מתגורר במערב לונדון, ולוסון מטפל בעסקיה של אשתו.[3] ללוסון וטוויגי יש בית נוסף בסאותוולד בסאפוק.[4]
