E.T. (בעברית: חוצן) הוא סינגל של זמרת הפופ קייטי פרי מאלבום האולפן השלישי שלה, Teenage Dream. השיר יצא לאור לראשונה כסינגל השיווקי השלישי מן האלבום ב-17 באוגוסט 2010, אך אחר כך הוחלט להוציא אותו מחדש, ב-16 בפברואר 2011, בתור הסינגל הרביעי מן האלבום. השיר מבוצע על ידי קייטי פרי וקניה וסט.

הקליפ לשיר זכה להצלחה רבה והוא אחד הקליפים הנצפים ביותר של פרי. בקליפ, פרי היא חיזרית המתרסקת על כדור הארץ ומתאהבת בבן אדם.

רקע וכתיבה

בדצמבר 2010, כאשר נשאלה קייטי פרי בדף הטוויטר על הסינגל הבא שלה, ענתה פרי כי הוא יהיה "Peacock", אך לבסוף פורסם בדף הפייסבוק שלה כי הסינגל הבא יהיה "E.T.‎".[1]

השיר יצא בשתי גרסאות, בגרסת הסינגל, שיצא בתאריך 16 בפברואר 2011, משתתף גם הראפר קניה וסט, אף על פי שבגרסת האלבום קטע הראפ אינו נכלל. השיר הגיע למקום הראשון במצעד הבילבורד הוט 100 ובמצעד בניו זילנד. הסינגל הגיע למעמד פלטינה באוסטרליה ולזהב בניו זילנד. הקליפ המצליח של השיר בוים על ידי פלוריה סיגיסמונדי.

מיקומי שיא

הסינגל הגיע לפסגה במצעד השירים של בילבורד הוט 100, למקום הראשון בקנדה וניו זילנד, ולחמישה הראשונים באוסטרליה, אירלנד ואנגליה.
