Hook, o capitán Garfo (en inglés: Hook) é un filme estadounidense de aventuras dirixido por Steven Spielberg que se estreou en 1991. O guión é obra de James V. Hart e Malia Scotch Marmo, e está protagonizado por Robin Williams como Peter Pan/Peter Banning, Dustin Hoffman como Capitán Garfo, Julia Roberts como Campaíña, Bob Hoskins como Smee, Maggie Smith como Avoa Wendy, Caroline Goodall como Moira Banning e Charlie Korsmo como Jack Banning. O filme é unha sorte de secuela da novela de J. M. Barrie Peter and Wendy, e conta a historia dun Peter Pan adulto que esqueceu a fantasía da súa nenez. Agora coñecido como "Peter Banning", é un avogado de éxito con muller e dous fillos. Garfo secuestra ós seus nenos, e Peter debe volver a "Nunca Xamais" para recuperar o seu espírito aventureiro para poder enfrontarse ó seu inimigo.

Spielberg comezou a desenvolver o filme a comezos dos anos 1980 con Walt Disney Productions e Paramount Pictures. Peter Pan entrou en pre produción en 1985, pero Spielberg abandonou o proxecto. James V. Hart creou un novo guión xunto co director Nick Castle e TriStar Pictures antes de que Spielberg decidise dirixilo en 1989. Hook foi rodado completamente en escenarios de Sony Pictures Studios en Culver City (California). Malia ter un mal recibimento por parte dos críticos, foi un éxito de recadación e foi nomeado en varias categorías da 64ª edición dos Oscar. A partir do filme realizáronse videoxogos, figuras de acción e adaptacións á banda deseñada.

Sinopse

Peter Pan (Robin Williams) é un prestixioso avogado e ten unha encantadora familia, pero perdeu o contacto con algo marabilloso: a súa infancia. Porén, cando os seus fillos son secuestrados polo seu antigo inimigo, o Capitán Garfo (Dustin Hoffman), e son levados ó País de Nunca Xamais, tamén el terá que viaxar a ese reino encantado, onde, coa axuda de Campaíña (Julia Roberts), poderá recuperar non só ós seus fillos, senón tamén ó neno que un día foi.
