A Biblioteca Nacional dos Países Baixos (en neerlandés: Koninklijke Bibliotheek, tamén coñecida como KB), con sede na Haia, foi fundada en 1798. O rei Lois Bonaparte deulle o seu nome actual en 1806. A institución independizouse do Estado en 1996, aínda que está financiada polo Departamento de Educación, Cultura e Ciencia.

A misión da KB, tal como se amosa no sitio web da biblioteca, «é proporcionar acceso ó coñecemento e a cultura do pasado e o presente, proporcionando servizos de alta calidade para a investigación, o estudo e a experiencia cultural». Con ese fin, en 2012 comezouse un proxecto de colaboración con Google para o escaneo e difusión de fondos libres de dereitos de autor, téndose escaneado uns 160.000 documentos pertencentes ós séculos XVIII e XIX.[1]

O KB contén 3.300.000 artigos (2004), o que equivale a 67 quilómetros de andeis. A maioría deles (2.500.000 ou 48 km) son libros. A colección contén case toda a literatura dos Países Baixos, desde os manuscritos medievais ás modernas publicacións científicas. A colección é accesible para os membros. Calquera persoa maior de 16 anos pode converterse en membro da biblioteca.

Entre as súas xoias posúe os Evanxeos de Egmond, elaborados en 975 e manuscritos en español con poesías do Século de Ouro.[2][3]
