Dubna (ven. Дубна́) on kaupunki Moskovan alueella Venäjällä noin 125 km Moskovasta pohjoiseen. Dubna on tiedekaupunki (naukograd) ja ydinfysiikan tutkimuksen keskus.[3] Vuoden 2021 väestönlaskennassa kaupungin asukasluku oli 75 431.[4]

Kaupunki on Moskovan alueen pohjoisin. Se sijaitsee Volgan varrella, joen molemmin puolin, juuri Ivankovon tekojärven ja sen padon alapuolella, Moskovan kanavan yhtymäkohdassa. Dubnasta on rautatieyhteys Moskovaan Savjolovon asemalle.lähde?

Dubna on kuuluisa erityisesti siellä sijaitsevan kansainvälisen hiukkasfysiikan tutkimuskeskuksen OIJaI:n (ven. ОИЯИ) takia. Dubna sai kaupunkioikeudet tutkimuskeskuksen perustamisen aikaan 1956 ja kansallisen tiedekaupungin (naukograd) aseman 2001. Keskuksessa on vuosina 1964-2010 löydetty yhdeksän uutta alkuainetta. Alkuaine numero 105 dubnium nimettiin kaupungin mukaan.[3] Kaupungissa toimii myös satelliittitietoliikenteen viestikeskus ja kalustetuotantoa harjoittava Ekomebel-yritys.[3] Dubnassa sijaitsee lisäksi ohjusteollisuuteen erikoistunut MKB Raduga -yritys.lähde?

Dubnan nähtävyydet

Dubnan nähtävyyksiin kuuluu muun muassa maailman toiseksi suurin Lenin-patsas. Patsas on pystytetty vuonna 1937. Leninin patsaan vieressä on ollut Stalin-patsas joka oli samana vuonna valmistunut mutta se tuhottiin vuonna 1963.

Kaupungissa on myös Iljušin Il-2 -lentokoneen muistomerkki. Toisen maailmansodan aikana lentokoneesta tuli Neuvostoliiton ilmavoimien symboli.
