Swedish cargo ship Karmas runs aground at the mouth of the River Tees , Northumberland , United Kingdom; it is refloated on 10 November.[ 28]
The US ocean liner William Lykes runs aground in Table Bay , South Africa; it is refloated on 31 October.[ 29]
