Η Λεύκη είναι οικισμός στη Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Καστοριάς.[1] Διοικητικά ανήκει στη Δημοτική Ενότητα Αγίας Τριάδος του Δήμου Καστοριάς της Μακεδονίας.[2] Βρίσκεται σε απόσταση περίπου 8 χλμ. δυτικά από το κέντρο της πόλης. Η παλιά ονομασία της είναι Ορμάν και έτσι αναφέρεται το 1918 στο ΦΕΚ 259Α - 29/12/1918 να προσαρτάται στην τότε κοινότητα Ζουπανίστης. Το 1927 μετονομάστηκε σε Κάτω Λεύκη και το 1961 σε Λεύκη.[3] Διοικητικά, σύμφωνα με το σχέδιο Καλλικράτης μαζί με τη Νέα Λεύκη, αποτελούν την τοπική κοινότητα Λεύκης και σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2011 το χωριό είχε πληθυσμό 379 κατοίκων.[4][5]
