Bubiki ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Kishapu in der tansanischen Region Shinyanga.

Geografie

Bubiki ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im Nordwesten von Tansania. Der Bezirk liegt rund 30 Kilometer Luftlinie nördlich der Regionshauptstadt Shinyanga.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 13.256 Menschen in 2068 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 96 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt im Nordwesten und im Norden an den Distrikt Kwimba der Region Mwanza und sonst an drei Bezirke des Distrikts Kishapu:[5]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Im Bezirk gibt es eine weiterführende Schule.[7] Die Bubiki Secondary School ist eine staatliche, koedukative Schule mit einer Ausbildung bis zur 4. Stufe.[8]
  • Gesundheitseinrichtungen: In der Gemeinde Bubiki liegt eine öffentliche Apotheke.[9]
  • Gebäude: Von den 2924 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 201 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 483 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. 139 Gebäude besitzen einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[10]
  • Verkehr: Durch Bubiki verläuft die asphaltierte Fernstraße T3, die Shinyanga mit Mwanza verbindet.[11]
