Are you here to talk about a Draft that was declined? Please rather post as a comment on the Draft talk page, where other reviewers can see as well, or use the resources on the decline notice. I spend limited time on reviewing new articles, so may not personally be the next person to review the submission.Greenman (talk) 21:20, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Greenman. After reviewing what I wrote, I believe it was fairly neutral as I was stating a true fact about the team. Them having four World Cup wins (more than any other nation) would classify them as the greatest rugby nation of all time. I believe you taking it down is a mistake and that what I had wrote is fair and doesn't go against the neutral act.
Howsit. Thank you, I am learning how this process works still. I assure you that myself do not have a COI in this matter. Although I have spoken to him (DE KOCK), and aware that he is 75, I am also aware of the entirety of the surroundings regarding his past life, much less his new life or even that he was released recently on parole. I have here in front of me physically:
1. Anemari Jansen - Eugene de Kock - Assassin for the State - Tafelberg Publishers - ISBN 978-0-624-07027-6
2. Jeremy Gordon - Eugene de Kock - A long night's DAMAGE - Contra Press - ISBN 0-620-22198-4
3. Jacques Pauw - In the heart of the whore - Southern Book Publishers - ISBN 1-86812-392-8
First book is the best and three being the worst.
Those are the three physically published books I have in my possession on C10 / DE KOCK.
(Personally have watched every video once, at least, some in excess of 20-30 times).
Many other relevant online sources exist, like O'Malleys Foundation and Mandela Organisation, Chris Hani Foundation and all of them of relatively the same information.
The books provide you different perspectives.
The online materials and TRC then another perspective.
Then there are the court cases, to which almost all the records are sealed, which is strange as it is supposed to be public information unless a ruling is made, which, if you try to find those records, are not there. You do however obtain some strings of incormation regarding the proceedings.
Then most interesting enough there are mentions of DEKOCK on Wikileaks:
Which makes him a significant in the eyes of the intelligence community.
One last thing, it is according to my understanding, common knowledge amongst most people in that I can reasonable accept that a majority of yourselves are aware that the media does not always tell the truth and often when they do tell the truth, only a half of it. Per example, did ANYONE believe WION with their moon landing video material that looks like a 90's SEGA game footage.
20/20 vision regarding the world is only foudn in hindsight. Now that so many years have passed and new information comes to light as an avid reader of the bushwar and collector of memoribilia from this era, and during these sessions learned about DEKOCK from another angle, one that presents a perspective directly from his colleagues who some people considered to be "underneath" the rest of them and wont be called to testify. To be clear and frank, if the Black African male soldiers/operators/policemen that served under the DEKOCK would have been allowed to testify for him, one would have been able to question the narrative at the during 1995.
Of course my immediate thought was how this could be the case, or what exactly does it mean, as it is was understood that the time that DE KOCK is a smart individual with above average intelligence, could mean by that. Well, that is the thing - when you understand what he means, and look at his friends from his early years during MANDATORY service to the state, they were same men that served under him.
I looked for what each of those Black African men said about him under his command and took some time, however I understood that DE KOCK is not a racist because a racist wont sleep next someone he hates and despise, nor try to save his life even when his own life is under threat. That makes no sense to me, because you are either racist or not, or is there a halfway racist in between? Then probably every person in the world must have some form racism because I can think of every nation in the world at least not liking some other nation which is different from them.
De Kock practically slept, ate and showered with his African Black soldiers/operators. That doesnt sound like a racist to me, to be honest and some of the stories also does not speak of "pure black hatred". If you mention De Kock to any former African Black African Koevoet, they immediately get excited and ask about their brother.
What I do know now, is that I can see a witchhunt when I see one, and practically only DE KOCK and WALUSZ were severely jailed after failed promises that they would not be jailed if they go to the TRC. So the last question why, or what, made DE KOCK and WALUSZ so special that they were exempted from the TRC promises of pardon. It got my attention recently. Hi Greenman,
I changed the article 4 times now, I added a bunch of independent, reliable sources and it's still an advertisement? Can you say which parts are not neutrally written? There is the history (that's just stating facts), what we offer (that's the core of every company) and the IPO (which again, are facts).
It's not because I'm an employee of the company, that I want to write an advertisement. We're a listed company on the Belgian stockmarket so we should have a Wikipedia page just to explain who we are.
Thanks for sharing the insights so I can get this article online.
@Greenman, please take a look at this draft (which you declined for want of reliable sources. I think you should be vast in knowing independent reliable media news outlets or journals in Nigeria based on your experience so far on the English Wikipedia. More than 20 reliable sources were cited in this draft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Adedoyin_Adeleke especially in the "Publications" part. Please make me understand more the reason for decline. Guide me the more. You are more like mentor now. Thank you. Frankincense Diala (talk) 05:14, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Greenman I'm sorry that my draft for Jane Fine was declined. I thought I'd included enough references, including for the birth date. Do you think that there should be more footnotes? I've written Wikipedia pages before, but on another account. Just wanted to clarify because maybe some protocols have changed since I last wrote a page? Thanks. ChurroCat (talk) 18:13, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Greenman I will leave this comment on the Talk page for Jane Fine, but I've added a reference to nearly every sentence, so I think that the page should be ready to be checked again (by you or any other qualified editor). ChurroCat (talk) 14:19, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That being said i will like you to know that i have addressed all the things that you pointed out in my article and will like you to check it for a re-review.

Could you please help to understand how can I fix this - "All statements need to be sourced, starting with the date of birth" - Looks like my sources not correct? And how can I sources date of birth?
"Duplication should also be removed" - I got it, this is glitch, very strange!)
How do i request approval of my article? You have suggested that i should link with the LGBTQ rights in Kenya, but i dont think the two articles will be congruent. Mike-Nairobi (talk) 14:50, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Greenman, thank you for reviewing my draft. You mentioned that the source for the DOB is missing - this is information I have directly received from the person I wrote the bio about - how should I cite it? Faliyahya (talk) 13:33, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just don't understand why since I have provided plenty of independent source. I have notice some pages with only two or three lines and even without proper source but they are still on Wikipedia, but for Thoeun Theara, there are many sources provided. You can also publish it and leave a note just like you do for many other articles so that other reviewers can help improve it. Thank you for your review. I removed some of the extra references. But in editing, I produced another error that I can't seem to fix. The first intro phrase of the draft does not show and has an error message. This is how it should begin: "Rosemarie Scolaro Moser is an American neuropsychologist[1]," Can you help? Hi Greenman, I am trying to better understand the comments you made when rejecting my draft (Draft:Uri Shraga Gutman). I dont know how to reference an objective source for a date of birth of my subject (a living person) other than uploading their passport or birth-certificate (which are the sources that I have seen), without breaching privacy laws and regulations. If you have some idea for how I can do this otherwise, can you please suggest? Additionally, I have referenced all that I can from online sources. I do have some "hard-copy" references (newspaper articles, for example, from the 1990s and early 2000s) - but I have not found these online, and therefore could not provide a reference to them for the article. Can you suggest a solution for this? Many thanks for your comments, and in advance for your help. Avggtmn (talk) 05:26, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Offline sources can be used, they are just not preferred, as they are difficult to verify. Please don't upload personal information, such as passport details! If you cannot find independent sources, then the information should rather be removed. Greenman (talk) 13:48, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Greenman, In many entries about living people, there is a date of birth, which is not referenced. Please note the very similar wikipedia entries for other diplomats/ambassadors (see example: Rafael Harpaz - Wikipedia). Can you suggest an alternative? For example, it is my understanding that LinkedIN is not considered a reliable source. What is, then? Avggtmn (talk) 06:07, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Avggtmn: that article is atrociously sourced, and much of the content is vulnerable to being removed. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Linkedin is considered a poor source in most contexts as it's self-published, but for a date of birth for an authenticated subject, Linkedin could be usable. See WP:LINKEDIN.Greenman (talk) 21:28, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please clarify why this entry is considered a conflict of interest? It is still listed as "pending" so not sure what the status is. Any clarification about next steps would be appreciated. Thank you! Erezze (talk) 11:37, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot say why it is COI, that is for the declarer to do. Since the writer mentions having seen their passport/birth-certificate, there is almost certainly a close relationship. Greenman (talk) 13:48, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am the writer and there is absolutely no mention of her birth-certificate, passport or country of origin/residence. So I'm not sure what you're referring to. The entry is still pending but you recommended reading the COI document -- it is still unclear as to why. 24.44.146.59 (talk) 16:59, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My friend, you have declined to publish my page of living person. Your reason was that there were too few citations but I see many published pages that have much fewer citations than mine.
For example: Zandaakhüügiin Enkhbold, Norovyn Altankhuyag, Mendsaikhany Enkhsaikhan and Radnaasümbereliin Gonchigdorj. I also used citations from international organizations and currently operational organizations if you need to verify.
You wrote that "Sources are poor, and some appear to be about an entirely different person. " This is just plain wrong! The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
I came here via one of the drafts you declined (mainly to see what the creator had asked you here) and noticed that you have not responded to hardly any of them. While I do recognise that many of them are simply requests to re-review a draft (which I agree is best left to a new reviewer) you should at least reply to them as such; your banner is not sufficient excuse to essentially ignore everyone. Please consider responding, even if it is just to point them to WP:AFCHD or that you are not going to re-review the draft. Thanks. Primefac (talk) 17:19, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, you accepted Draft:Buddhism in Spain for the mainspace. A bit strange, as none of the issues I raised on the talk page when I moved it to draft previously had been addressed (just like many other issues weren't considered, e.g. the number/percentage mismatch in the infobox). Please don't put such terrible articles in the mainspace. Fram (talk) 12:18, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:AFCPURPOSE. This in my opinion is a fairly clearcut case of an article that would survive WP:AFD. The issues you have raised can be tagged, fixed, removed as appropriate, but are not sufficient reason to decline the submission. Greenman (talk) 12:45, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Have you actually looked at the flowchart? An article which isn't reliably sourced should be declined. I have highlighted serious issues with sources not supporting the claims they accompany. Even without those, I wonder why one would deliberately put gibberish and incorrect claims in the mainspace in the first place. "Surviving AfD" just means "the topic is notable" (and not copyvio or attack page, which would require deletion in draft as well), AfC review requires a bit more than that. The very, very least one could expect a reviewer to do is check the issues which lead to draftification in the first place, but I doubt you actually looked at the talk page when reviewing. Fram (talk) 13:42, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Let's, as an example, look at the intro to the article: "Buddhism (Spanish: Budismo) is the one of the largest religions in Spain. The presence of Buddhism in Spain began in the late 1970s, brought from other parts of Europe, especially France. Despite its short history in the country, Buddhism was recognized as a deep-rooted religious confession in 2007, under official consideration. This recognition implies its comparison with most established religions for legal, political and administrative purposes." Ignoring that we get a grammatical error after just three words: this paragrapgh (of just the last sentence, who knows?) is sourced to [1], which verifies nothing at all in this paragraph.
Not an exception with this article, sadly: the first sentence of the history section is "The Spanish came into contact with Japanese Buddhists in the 16th century when some Jesuit missionaries settled in Japan and China." This is sourced to this, but surprise, that article doesn't mention China, Japan, Jesuits or missionaries, nor the 16th century.
Need I go on? Or will you accept that you perhaps botched this one, and remove your explanation from the top of the draft? I can add my explanation there as well if you prefer. Fram (talk) 13:51, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking the time out to review my draft on Matthew Iduoriyekemwen. You left the comment that "Numerous statements are unsourced". I believe your review is unfair as this is an article on a person who was a member of a state legislature in a third world nation at a time of low internet penetration meaning there is naturally a limited number of online sources which can be referenced on the individual at this time. I believe it would be unfair to exclude significant information on the grounds that statements are unsourced seeing as it would end up providing barely an information on the individual to the user. Also, there are numerous articles on Wikipedia with many statements unsourced. For context internet penetration in the year 2000 in Nigeria was 0.06% and in 2007 when he left office was 6.77% (Nigerian: internet penetration). This means generally information on notable people from Nigeria from that era is generally limited on the internet especially when they are part of subnational governments. I'd urge you to reconsider your review on this as it is quite difficult to gauge the notability of a sub national govt official from Nigeria active in early internet era.
However if you still disagree, could you please point me to the statements you believe absolutely require an online source to have them removed from the article. I do think this takes away the benefit of the article as should any information on the article be contested, future readers will be welcome to edit the page and counter accordingly Hayfiz (talk) 09:08, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @Greenman, this is the very first article I've written and since Gondwana is the largest privately-owned tourism company in Namibia (where I live), I thought it would be a good place to start and I based a lot of the format on the TUI Group page. Would you give me some advice on how to improve it further? I removed all sections that I could understand that I thought seemed a bit more like a sales pitch than an encyclopedia article (based on your feedback), but when it comes to Namibia as a whole, apart from local newspapers and a few external tourism sites and blogs, it's quite difficult to reference facts.
As a Namibian, I think it's important for us to be on the map for more than just the basics, so I had a few articles in mind, but now that the first one has been rejected, I would love some pointers on how to overcome objections like quoting the source (their website) when very little other online references exist.
As mentioned, for inspiration, I looked at the TUI group and their website is referenced quite regularly, which is why I assumed the latter would be okay when it came to basic facts and then news updates and articles would be perfect for any further expansion, but what if even the basic facts like what a company does is not referred to online as more than a casual mention?
I would honestly love to learn from an actual contributor, since I read all the important documentation, but Namibia is often left untouched in even these areas. If I had to write about Sun International, it's already so much easier because the world writes about them, but in my journey to put us on the map, I find that, except for tourists who write blogs on the country, we have very little to reference.
talk page lurking...@Anit006: Wikipedia is not about helping organizations to be on the map. We are an encyclopedia and have certain standards. One of the foremost of those is that each article must pass the notability criteria. As a good rule of thumb, you can use the golden rule to check if the references you are using support the article or draft's assertion of notability. Drafts that do not meet the requirements for notability will not be accepted as new articles. - UtherSRG(talk)16:37, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@UtherSRG - I didn't say the organisation should be on the map, I said our country should be on the map and I wrote the article as part of a project for my school. The idea was to write an article that would assist in the travel and tourism industry and is Namibia-specific. I'm just trying to figure out where the balance is, because the info online is limited. i really need some guidance ss to why my sources are not acceptable and this entry is rejected as my subject's colleagues have been published with equivalent or less sourcing , i have publications including new york times variety sun sentinel and libary of cogress that either quote or talk about the subject in detail, discuss the significance or his work and links that show his role on each project as well as sources that establish the subject has been personally cited for receiving awards and recognition of many films. If its time to give up on this i understand but it its a matter of me doing it incorrectly please advise.
Hi @Walnuthillstreet:, the existence of other poorly-sourced articles is not a reason for something to be published/avoid deletion. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. If you wish to continue, the best advice is to address the concerns raised with your submission. The unsourced statements should be removed or sourced. Greenman (talk) 17:03, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
absolutely understood and that is understood but i am wondering what would be considered unsourced, could you provide an example? Because i believe that there are at least three well-sourced articles (which fit the criteria for inclusion) if i remove everything else does that work? or is it a matter of not having enough well-sourced articles? I very much appreciate your guidance and thanks Walnuthillstreet (talk) 17:14, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
An unsourced statement is a statement that cannot be verified because it is not followed by a source. For example, the entire education section, or "He is a frequent collaborator with director Ramon Menendez". Please also take note of WP:COI. Greenman (talk) 13:04, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Draft: Le Papa de simon declined again..
Hello, you have again declined my draft, 'Le Papa de Simon'. We are looking at a short story, seemingly one of the first Guy de Maupassant wrote. As to sourcing: Compare this article to what there is at FRWP, or DEWP. You will see that the sourcing situation is pretty similar. As we all know, sourcing is about reliable third-part references. Quick question thugh: What do you expect, given the story was published over 100 years ago? - Likely the best you'll find is a student of French literature published something in a literary magazine. If that student is doing a PhD, it will likely only cover a very small aspect. You cannot really compare a story that appeared in a newspaper/journal, and that's perhaps 30-50 lines long to a novella or book... Eptalon (talk) 08:03, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Eptalon: each language project has its own guidelines and the English guidelines may be stricter. If something was published 100 years ago, and it is notable, there should far more than just the one reference available. Greenman (talk) 09:14, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That may be the case. I translated/wrote this based on FrWP and DeWp. I wont spend time in a library, trying to find sources. If FrWp doesn't have more soures they likely don't exist. Perhaps you'll find people interested in French language or literature, who'll extend it. I can leave a message on the FrWp page, but will otherwise be done with the subject. hi you made a comment on 'Lizzy Rose': draft's "Comment: WP:External links need to be removed. Greenman (talk) 21:13, 21 March 2023 (UTC)" - thank you for your comment, I've now removed those links. Are you content to approve the page for publication? Chopschopschops (talk) 09:15, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Rejected draft, conflict of interest.
I made the page myself and i understand why this could be a conflict of interest but it is also obvious
that we are a band that has been around for 16 years with more than 5 releases under i belt.
I would really like to resolve this issue as I believe we deserve a page.
Thanks
Glen
Hi Greenman, I am not new to Wikipedia, I have plenty of experience in German Wikipedia. The article Ponzichter exists exactly in this version in the German Wikipedia. It has the same supporting documents there. It is known that the German Wikipedia is even stricter than the English one. Therefore, I do not understand your objection. Greeting, Loimo (talk) 08:44, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Loimo:, Draft:Ponzichter was also tagged in February and again in March with concerns, and the links to the English Wikipedia guidelines should be clear to follow from there. Adding some inline citations would be a big help in both getting the submission reviewed more easily, and in getting it approved. Note that one of the two external links is a 404, which doesn't help with notability. Greenman (talk) 07:45, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Greenman:, I overlooked before that the link no longer works. I have fixed that now. I also put the footnote. The main information is in the book cited and on the info board I recently attached to the article as an illustration. Please have a look at it now. Greetings--Loimo (talk) 09:55, 15 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Draft:Vladimir Dragosh
Good evening. I saw a warning about not writing to you about declined pages, but here is a strange case. Someone deleted from some sources the necessary information about Vladimir Dragosh and his students for the month that the draft was waiting for approval. I found new sources, including printed ones, and brought them. Link to an article from the book by the authoritative Moldovan musicologist Elena Uzun about Vladimir Dragosh, which I have given, with a translation of this article into English: https://ext-6309854.livejournal.com/318.html . The rest of the links are available on the Internet. Please look at the page again. Nichita1975 (talk) 15:21, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking the time to review the page which I had written.
The explanation you have provided for rejection 'purely promotional' is rather vague. Are you able to provide specific examples? I can see plenty of other comments to the same tune on this talk page, so I am just seeking some clarification so that I can correct the perceived mistakes.
Greenman, I am responding to the notes that you provided on the 1895 Films. As a first-time submitter, I truly do appreciate your feedback and am approaching this with a learning mindset. I understand that the mission of Wikipedia is unbiased education, and I want to provide articles that meet that mission. Do you have specific examples you can share with me that illustrate how I have moved too much into a promotional voice? I completely understand that using links to the subject's owned and operated platforms is not good, and I can find other examples for those links. I was using the New Line Cinema and Stephen Spielberg pages as guidelines since this is about film production. I really appreciate your insights. Thank you.
Hey @Greenman thank you for your cooperations and great operations on Wikipedia. I am kindly seeking For your help, review, corrections in my draft article which is pending for your review or by team if possible.
It will be my pleasure if my article is accepted and I will always find ways to clean it and make it more suitable.
I sourced both possible birth years since there is disagreement among sources about Mammeri's birth year (something that wasn't on the original French Wikipedia entry). Thank you for pointing out this. Abzeronow (talk) 16:45, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
DRAFT: Tommaso Piccini
Hi Greenman, just seen that you disapproved my article regarding Silvio Salmoiraghi. I am a gastronome and while i was looking for info on Wikipedia I noticed that many many italian chef (exept Marchesi i would say based on my search) don't have info on them, that's why I decided to use my knowledge in the sector to try open pages and talk about them and their philosophy in the kitchen. You said that article and i quote: "appears to read more like an advertisement", can you please tell me and also suggest which parts i need to focus on? Since is my first time actually doing the work from the beginning i decided to describe the idea behind the person, can you understand? My purpose was not to sound too enthusiastic, can you please point me where i need to adapt test so that i can ask again for your approval? TommasoPiccini (talk) 10:19, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I submitted three reliable sources following wikipedia guideline as can be cited in the references section, however I was surprised to see that greenman declined the page citing reliable sources.

Hello there, I read what you wrote here but still I need to write you since decline is an action that creates a whole new process for resubmitting at times... you wrote as a reason for decline "for example the source provided for most of the info in the biographical section makes no mention of most of what is stated." and this is not correct. The first source states the tree house and the second that he completed his degree with honors. I placed many reliable sources and also placed info regarding them on the talk page.
I am well aware the draft was decline before you but all edits asked were done and this is an award wining director and the fact he is from I srael, doesnt mean he isnt worthy for a wikipedia page in English as well. Please revisit this and correct it if you can and willing... Thanks, Newlywo (talk) 09:44, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what other "reliable sources" I need to support the submission. I will be glad if I am guided on the exact type of reliable sources that will make the submission be accepted.
Hi, I would like to ask for assistance for my article. I have provided sources but apparently, it's not enough to support my article. I understand that there are few articles that can be found online, can you suggest ways on how to improve my article? Thank you in advance.
I didn't mean to make this draft promotional. I can't really understand on what sources should I cite. Could you help me make that article "less promotional"? Best regards, Andus. AndusDEV (talk) 16:02, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Draft on Wolfi Landstreicher
Hello Greenman, in your comment for declining the draft you listed my first source not mentioning the subject. In the first source Changing Suns Press you can find their short bibliography titled "Wolfi LandStreicher" on the subject under the part labeled "Killing King Abacus". Alpenflage (talk) 01:44, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alpenflage: thanks, I stand corrected. I probably missed it because it's spelt differently there, "Wolfi Landstreicher", as opposed to the spelling used in the title, Draft:Wolfi Landstricher, or the spelling used in the lead, "Wolfi Landsticher". The submission still falls short of the notability requirement though. Greenman (talk) 10:31, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Greenman Why did he reject the player’s draft while he had obtained all the rights? Also, the player already has pages on the FIBA sites, and he is the current player in Zamalek, and he has obtained all the rights. Itache14 (talk) 13:57, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Itache14: I don't understand what you mean by "he had obtained all the rights", but the submission was declined because there are unsourced statements, starting with the date of birth. Also, please make sure the notability guidelines are met. Greenman (talk) 14:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You rejected this list for lack of Notability, but other D3 Sports, D1 Wrestling, and D2 Wrestling all have their own lists, so I find it inconsistent to argue that D3 Wrestling is too niche to not have it's own Page. The personal bias of the Wikipedia reviewer should not be taken into account, only what is considered notable enough to have it's own list so far, and given that D3 Wrestling sits at the Crossroads of D3 Sports and College Wrestling, both things which are considered notable enough to have their own lists, it should also have it's own list.
I see you've already done it. It should be fine - on WP:PAGEMOVE, the relevant clause is "The subject of the article has changed its name and the new name has come into majority use." It's maybe still a bit early, but the new name should become the common name very soon. Greenman (talk) 20:15, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Review of a AfC review
Hello, I noticed that about a month ago you declined Draft:Saeb Sabry al-Safi for notability reasons. However, at the same time you said
I cannot access the sources to review, however the submission needs substantial copyediting. I think it is a bit confusing to decline for notability if the sourcing has not been reviewed yet. Thanks, Catalk to me!11:14, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Declined Article
Hello Greenman, you declined my article @ Bala Sanusi Turaki. I hereby want to let you know that the article is well citated. If you will check the article log, you will understand that i have citated more than 50 independent sources which includes the name of the subject. He is a person of high prominence in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Please kindly check and advise me on what to do next, because the article keeps getting rejected. The last comment was Citation Overkill which simply translates to "too many citations". Your comment notes that the citations provided dosent included the full name of the person. Please check properly, i wouldn't post an article without proper citation, Maybe the method of writing it is wrong, but kindly understand there are more than enough citations with his name. Hi, since you declined my draft i need to tell you something. I added as source YouTube, and a moderator told me that the reason why they put it is because they have probably slipped through the net and that it is rarely an acceptable style of reference. But he also said that a large majority of YouTube videos are not reliable sources and that videos posted on the official YouTube channels of reliable media outlets are accepted as reliable sources. 82.54.155.2 (talk) 08:40, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello my friend Greenman, you have declined to publish my page of me, DR. Pisit Pitukcheewanont. Your reason was that there were too few citations but I see many published pages that have much fewer citations than mine. Can you please be more specific? hello greenman, you rejected my article because it
1. "lacks secondary sources"
when it almost looks exactly (basically the same) looks like the other articles part of the "Billboard Hits of the World" Chart collection, you denying my article which actually has more information than say South Korea Songs or Hong Kong Songs actually most of them yet they have articles yet they were accepted, I don't understand why South Africa Songs was rejected
2. "not relevant" or something like that,
how is that even relevant because the whole point is to add information that was not shared on Wikipedia before, who really cares about the Hits Of The World charts? people from their respective countries, i don't know why you rejected it, the reasons you gave also disqualified the already uploaded articles SaintAntoineLaurent (talk) 19:03, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @SaintAntoineLaurent: see Wikipedia:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. The existence of other poorly-sourced articles does not mean more should be approved. Hiya! I would like to ask what do you mean the English on Draft:Josei Tennō is barely comprehensible? It seems fine to me. Please respond when you can, and I will go over it again to make sure it's ok. Thanks! Camillz (talk) 08:03, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Camillz: There are numerous examples throughout, such as "...all reigning monarchs were probably called Great King of Yamato (or queen), and not Josei Tennō, from Empress Jitō on, The were called Josei Tennō". Or "...blood was seen as impure and Soga-no-Iruka being killed Infront of the empress, and the empress being the most pure person (being Japan's leader) she had to abdicate". But the first example "...all reigning monarchs were probably called Great King of Yamato (or queen), and not Josei Tennō, from Empress Jitō on, The were called Josei Tennō" you cut of the start which says "Before Emperor Tenji" although I think the problem is that it says Reigning monarchs. Wikipedia (WP:FORBESCON) is confusing Forbes Magazine with Forbes.com. It is incorrectly disallowing all stories related to Forbes because Forbes.com publishes some sponsored content. First, Forbes.com is NOT all sponsored content. Some of it is, and some of it is not. Other stories are exact replicas of what appears in the magazine, Forbes. For some reason, wikipedia is disallowing anything that is published that references Forbes. I am sourcing Forbes magazine. This content is produced and edited by journalists, not by advertisers and marketers. I would like to appeal that this content be allowed as a source. Can you help me? I am a bit confused by this statement: "See WP:BLP. Statements, starting with the date of birth, need to be sourced or removed. The entire personal life section is unsourced. Greenman (talk) 09:44, 13 April 2024 (UTC)" How would you like me to source someone's date of birth? From the hall of records? There are many, many published Wikis that do not source the hometown, college where the person attended, the place of birth. Please explain exactly how you would like me to add a primary source her to verify each of these. Thank you, Johnny Deadline. Johnnydeadline (talk) 21:56, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The source comes from R.J. Shook the subject of the Wiki. Shouldn't a primary source be sufficient? If I need to attribute it him, I am happy to do so. Thanks, Johnnydeadline (talk) 19:30, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Johnnydeadline: I can't say where you should source the information from, but where do you get the information from if you don't have a source? People people add incorrect information to Wikipedia all the time, and if there's no source, there's no way to verify. That's why Wikipedia policy is very clear that material must be "attributed to a reliable, published source using an inline citation; material not meeting this standard may be removed". As for other articles, see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, in particular "From the logical perspective, this argument is an example of the logical fallacy known as the fallacy of relative privation (also known as "appeal to worse problems" or "not as bad as"). I'm frankly at my wit's end with the unsourced population figures that keep appearing on White Zimbabweans. That article seems to go through prolonged periods of inactivity when nobody messes with the infobox, but then inevitably reliable sources get removed and unsourced numbers are added and re-added again. We're currently going through one of these cycles. Do you think we should appeal to have the page protected or semi-protected?

Hi @Dxneo:WP:COI is an important Wikipedia policy, and therefore it's important new contributors are aware of it and adhere to it. Framing this topic as "COI accusations" is a misrepresentation. It's about raising awareness. A COI-editor who does not disclose any COI likely to be blocked. For the submission you refer to, Draft:Die Fakulteit, the single-purpose account, and completely over-the-top promotional language, mean they're quite possibly a COI editor, and may benefit from the notification. Greenman, did I also seem like a COI editor when you also referred me to WP:COI cause I had already created multiple articles? As important of a guideline it is, it is not okay to "accuse" other editors with this COI thing. Take care. dxneo (talk) 11:27, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Friendly reminder about the Royal Society for notability
Hello Greenman, and thanks for your work at AfC! This is just a note because I was going through some book/author articles and noticed this decline. I definitely agree that the sources at that time didn't show NAUTHOR or GNG, but I wanted to point out that there was sourcing for his election to the Royal Society of Literature, which satisfies WP:NACADEMIC criteria 3.
