The 2025 Philippine local elections in the Cordillera Administrative Region are scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025.

Abra

Governor of Abra

Incumbent Dominic Valera (Asenso Abrenio) is running for mayor of Bangued. Valera was elected with 51.10% of the vote in 2022. On December 9, 2024, Office of the President suspended Valera for a violation in filling a vacancy in a municipal council. Russell Bragas became acting governor.

Vice Governor of Abra

Incumbent Joy Bernos (Asenso Abrenio) is running for a first full term. Bernos was elected with 71.42% of the vote in 2022. On August 12, 2024, Office of the President suspended Bernos over her order as governor in 2020 to lockdown a hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Russell Bragas became acting vice governor. A temporary restraining order by an Abra court halted Bernos' suspension from September 2 to 23, 2024. On December 9, 2024, the Office of the President suspended Bernos, along with Governor Dominic Valera, for a violation in filling a vacancy in a municipal council. Bragas became acting governor, and Allan Seares became acting vice governor.
