Negros Oriental

Governor of Negros Oriental

Incumbent Chaco Sagarbarria (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) is running for a first full term. Sagarbarria became governor on May 31, 2023, and is the fourth governor since the 2022 election.

Pryde Henry Teves (then affiliated with the Nationalist People's Coalition) was initially declared to be the winner in the 2022 election. However, on October 3, 2022, the Commission on Elections declared Roel Degamo (Nacionalista Party) the winner in the 2022 election following an electoral protest. Degamo took office as governor on October 5, but Teves did not step down until October 11. On March 4, 2023, Degamo was assassinated and was succeeded by Guido Reyes (Nacionalista Party). On May 31, 2024, Reyes died and was succeeded by Chaco Sagarbarria (then affiliated with the Nationalist People's Coalition).

Vice Governor of Negros Oriental

Incumbent Jaime Reyes (Independent) is running for a first full term. Jaime Reyes became vice governor on May 31, 2023, and is the third vice governor since the 2022 election.

Guido Reyes (Nacionalista Party) was elected in the 2022 election. On March 4, 2023, Guido Reyes became governor after Roel Degamo (Nacionalista Party) was assassinated. Chaco Sagarbarria (then affiliated with the Nationalist People's Coalition) succeeded Guido Reyes as vice governor. On May 31, 2023, Sagarbarria became governor after Guido Reyes died. Jaime Reyes (then affiliated with the Liberal Party) succeeded Sagarbarria as vice governor.
