يُعتبر "ملف ستيل"، الذي يُعرف أيضًا بـ "ملف ترامب وروسيا"، وثيقة بحثية أعدتها المعارضة السياسية وتتضمن ادعاءات غير مثبتة بشكل قاطع. وقد جرى إعداد هذه الوثيقة خلال الفترة الممتدة من يونيو إلى ديسمبر من عام 2016، وهي تتضمن مزاعم حول سوء سلوك وتآمر وتعاون بين حملة دونالد ترامب الرئاسية والحكومة الروسية قبل وأثناء الانتخابات الرئاسية الأمريكية لعام 2016.[10][11] وقد تعاملت وسائل الإعلام والمجتمع الاستخباراتي ومعظم الخبراء مع هذا الدليل بحذر شديد نظرًا لما تضمنه من ادعاءات غير مؤكدة، وقد ندد به ترامب ووصفه بالأخبار الكاذبة.[12]
