Sydney Irwin Pollack (1 Juli 1934 – 26 Mei 2008) adalah seorang sutradara film, produser, dan aktor Amerika. Pollack dikenal karena menyutradarai film studio yang mendapat pujian komersial dan kritis. Selama empat puluh tahun berkarier, ia menerima banyak penghargaan, termasuk dua Academy Awards dan Primetime Emmy Award, selain nominasi untuk tiga Golden Globe Awards dan enam BAFTA Awards.

Pollack memenangkan Academy Awards untuk Sutradara Terbaik dan Film Terbaik atas Out of Africa (1985).^[1] Ia juga dinominasikan untuk Academy Awards untuk Sutradara Terbaik atas They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969) dan Tootsie (1982).
