Yaşar Üniversitesi, Selçuk Yaşar Spor ve Eğitim Vakfı tarafından 2001 yılında İzmir'de kurulmuş bir vakıf üniversitesidir. Üniversite eğitime 2002-2003 akademik yılında başlamıştır.[1] Okul, konum olarak Bölge Metro İstasyonu'nun direkt karşısındadır.
