Vera Nešić (15. maj 1960 — 10. januar 2011) je bila srpska folk pevačica. Pevačku karijeru je počela 1987. u Kragujevcu. Vrhunac popularnosti doživela je između 1988. i 1992. godine, kada je otpevala svoje najveće hitove: „A gde smo ja i ti (Vremena se menjaju, uspomene ostaju)“, „Potražićeš opet mene“, „Kome noćas dajem sne“ i „Proleće je, a ja sama“. Pesma „U srcu mome živiš samo ti“ iz 1998. postala je evergrin narodne muzike. Poslednji album – Bolujem, izdala je 2006. godine, za Gold produkciju.[1] Bila je veoma popularna u Šumadiji i srpskoj dijaspori.

Smrt

Umrla je od raka 10. januara 2011. godine u Finiksu, Arizona, Sjedinjene Američke Države. Iza sebe je ostavila supruga i dve kćerke.[2]

Vera Nešić je snimala prvenstveno folk muziku. Turbo-folk je u njenim pesmama bio malo prisutan, dok pop-folk nikada nije pevala.
