Dijalog

Dijalog (od starog Grčkog "Dialogos" što znači razgovor) predstavlja vođenje pismenog ili usmenog razgovora i protiv razgovora između dve ili više osoba. Njegova suprotnost je monolog, razgovor jedne osobe sa ili protiv sebe samog (pre svega kod drame).

Istorija

Svesna upotreaba dijaloga počinje kod Sofista, koji im služi za saznavanje, ili raspravljanje problema u smislu klasične Dijalektike (Teze i Antiteze). Literalno se može naći u Sokratovim dijalozima koje je objavio Platon, jedan od prvih vrhunaca dijalektike. U humanizmu dijalog doživljava svoj razvitak tek kod Erazma Roterdamskog i kod Urliha od Hutena

Literatura

Kao literalno sredstvo o karakterisanju jedne figure i kod razvijanja radnje, dijalog određuje dramu, u lirici nalazi upotrebu kod forme prepričavanja, kao kod balade.

Jedna posebna forma epike je dijalog u romanu koji se kod Diderota, Vilanda, ili kod Fontane sastoji isključivo iz razgovora. Kao literalna vrsta, dijalog je jedan tekst sa ulogama podeljen na više govornika. Kod Platona je to kao forma filozofske diskusije, Diskusija sa namerom dubokog uvida u jedno pitanje dospeti, uputiti. U dijalogu se susreću različiti pogledi jedan za drugim. Učesnici pokušavaju svoje namere drugima da nanesu, s tim što bi došli do uvida koji je jednoj pojedinačnoj osobi uskraćen.

Kao tekst forma služi dijalog naročito jednom živahnom prikazivanju, može li jedna tema bolje nego jedan jedinstveni tekst od različitih strana razjasniti i u datom momentu služiti, da lično mišljenje autora sakrije, možda kod lične zaštite i kod izbegavanja cenzure, (tako kod Davida Hume u njegovom dijalogu "o prirodnoj religiji") ili iz principijelnog nepoverenja protiv jedinstvene forme pisanih tekstova.
